NVQ level 6 Advice And Guidance
Those individuals working as an agent for consultancy, or working as an advocate of the client or are engaged with the external agencies or voluntary service providing companies are invited to attend these NVQ level 6 advice and guidance related courses. This course will fit those professionals who are directly related to the courts or consulting firms because in these professions the people are set either to give suggestions and advices or to guide their clients for the better opportunity with minimum risks.
These kinds of advising and guiding courses include some core units which are compulsory for all the candidates to be learnt and there are some optional units also included in these courses from which the candidates can pick up only few subjects to support their main units. The obligatory subjects to be learnt through out these NVQ level 6 advice and guidance courses include establishment of communication with the clients for advising and guiding them for their benefit. The second unit is supporting the clients to make the proper utilization of their advice and guidance service. The last but not the least unit is reviewing personal contribution to the advising service by the candidates.
The optional units that are included in these NVQ level 6 advice and guidance courses are the development of interactions with the clients, utilization of proper media for communicating with the clients, providing assistance for the clients to decide what course of actions should be undertaken. There are some other units such as negotiating on behalf of the clients, providing information materials for the proper utilization of the service, ensuring the candidate’s positive contribution for the clients, learning through demo and instruction also included in these NVQ level 6 advice and guidance related courses.
The institutions levy no formal educational requirement upon the applicants regarding their admission. Instead of educational qualifications the candidates should at least hold a position of consultant in a consultancy service oriented organization. The candidates engagement with any organization on any job related with this course will help the candidate to learn more comprehensively than others studying from book. Because working in an organization the candidates will be able to gather practical experience and will be able to find out weak points in their communication skills and advising procedure so that they can fix the problem.
The assessment procedure for the candidates will be undertaken on the basis of the portfolio of the reports they will provide in front of the assessors regarding their experience in that organization. Then they will have to face an oral or written test to prove their competence over this course. If they remain successful with all the credits achieved through out the course. Then they will be awarded with these NVQ level 6 advice and guidance certificates.
